‘Kayak View’ was painted from a photo my husband took while kayaking on the River Murray at Mannum, South Australia. It was taken at about 6.30am and the amber-pink sunrise was truly amazing. As he gently paddled towards the pelican in the distance, the swirls of river water reflected all the colors of the dawn. (122cm x 91cm canvas)
